All Saints Anglican Church Cammeray

Extension of the workship space, new ministry centre

Value    $3,300,000
Date    2010 - 2018

Following the success of Naremburn Cammeray Anglican Church, MCA were then engaged for the design of significant refurbishments and extensions to All Saints Anglican Church in Cammeray.
A locally listed Heritage building, MCA Architects sought to retain the rich qualities of the original Worship space, with a fresh, light-filled ministry centre extension to the south, and to a new lower ground level below the existing Church.

With scenic district views, the new ministry centre required underpinning of existing masonry Church, providing large classroom spaces for Kids ministries, gathering spaces for fellowship, and open, secured grassy play spaces for families. The works emphasise the original Church fabric, providing a new sympathetic entry way to an extended worship space, increasing capacity of the growing congregation.
